Early Child Development Program (ECDP)
ECDP encompasses physical, cognitive, motor-fine & gross, emotional and social development between 0-6 years of age. Mymensingh Welfare School offer ECDP to learners who are being at risk to be challenged children. Basically it is the early intervention programs for children with speech delay, poor in eye contact, socialization and communication. Ensuring Standard daily routine maintenance, practicing of positive parenting, healthy diet and a joyful child friendly environment are the main theme of ECDP in this school. A well prepared Individualized Education Plan (IEP) through a multi-disciplinary expert team make sure to be inclusive a child in the mainstream education.
Pre-Schooling
Preschool programs are designed to educate children aged 4 to 5. The main aim is to educate learners through play according to the curriculum of NCTB. Basically it is the preparatory program for mainstream school at 6 years old. Importance of schooling, learning, routine life, friendship and the role of parents during this time are the main theme of pre-schooling program.
Primary Schooling
Primary education is typically the first stage of formal education, coming after preschool and before secondary school. MWS offer primary schooling for the learners with special needs. NCTB published books along with ADL, PMD and ITA are the content of primary education of MWS.
Vocational Program
Vocational program refers to instructional courses that focus on the skills required for a particular job function or trade. In vocational training, education prepares students for specific careers, disregarding traditional, unrelated academic subjects. MWS offer different kinds of vocational programs for the learners with special needs. But MWS first assess streght of the learners through Vocational Lab which was supported by EMK centre and then admit the learners in desired program like nursery, bakery and dairy, dress making, jwellery, arts and crafts etc.
Developmental Program
The Developmental Program trains students in the major areas of development, including socio-emotional development, cognitive and perceptual development, motor development, language and communicative development; and social perception and social-cognitive development. MWS offer this program for the learners who cross the early development stage.
Academic Guidance
The learners with special needs who are admitted in another school or who want support in public examination, MWS offer this program to assist them. Academic program also arrange learning of Co & Extra Curricular Activities for the learners.
Home Service
MWS offer academic and developmental home service for the children withn special needs who are not capable to come at school or who seek special care.
Online Service
Actually online service is provided for who seek distant learnings. Experts assist the learners using digital device.
Medical & Therapeutic Services
MWS also arrange medical and therapeutic services for learners a they need multi-disciplinary guidance from phisicians, therapists, nutritioninst and special educators. MWS has an expert panel with designated professionals of National Level.
Workshop/Seminar/Training/Counseling/Guidance/Parenting
MWS arrange workshop, semener and training according to the demand of learners, their guardian and the staff of MWS. Besides parents need counseling, guidance and parenting program to caregive their beloved child. So MWS offer such kind of programs for the parents.
Research/Intern/Field Work/Training support
MWS conduct research and to support research related to special, inclusive education and management of the learners with special needs. Research fellow from Universities join with MWS to get support for their academic demand. Besides MWS support several kind of training programs of relevant different Ministry and National Institute.
